We are a historical farm nestled in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, on the outskirts of the small town Raphine in Virginia. In true farming tradition, the Powers’ operate Hidden Valley’s 470 acres of rolling hills as a family and specialize in beef cattle, high quality hay, equine services and guest cottage rental.

We're the Powers

Both Virginia natives, Alison and Doug grew up on cattle and crop farms, so farming was a lifestyle long before it became a business. Caring for livestock and the land is a passion they both share, and now offer the same lifestyle to their son, Trip. In October of 2017, the Powers' moved to Hidden Valley Farm to expand their cattle and hay production.

The world around us continuously develops and changes, but the farm's purpose has remained the same over time. Those here before us, planted and harvested, tended to their livestock, and provided for themselves and others. We will continue to do the same because we have a great love for the land, livestock and the lifestyle.
